Description of Product Our lip balm with SPF 15 is made using a top-tier formula of organic ingredients combined with natural zinc oxide mineral sunblock/sunscreen. Additionally, our lip balm contains non-nano particle zinc oxide, which ensures that you won't have to worry about particle size. This lip balm is SPF rated at 15 and is also water-resistant for up to 80 minutes.

In our quest to develop a lip balm with sunblock, we prioritized sourcing a formula with an organic base and natural sunblock. While many natural lip balms are available on the market, most utilize chemical sunscreens. Others may use natural mineral sunscreens like zinc oxide but combine them with petrolatum and/or artificial ingredients. Additionally, some zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide sunscreens also contain oxybenzone and/or other chemical sunscreens. Always read the labels.

You may be concerned about non-nano zinc oxide leaving a white shadow. However, our formula minimizes any white shadowing effect by including an ingredient called Polyhydroxystearic acid, which suspends and disperses the zinc oxide evenly. The end result is a lip balm that does not leave behind any noticeable white residue.

If you're putting a lip balm with artificial ingredients and chemical sunscreens onto your lips, aside from skin absorption, you're also inadvertently ingesting those harmful ingredients. Our lip balm is completely natural and organic, and therefore non-toxic. Although the zinc oxide may cause the lip balm consistency to be slightly thicker than chemical sunscreen-based lip balms, it still applies smoothly.

Our lip balm is free of oxybenzone and is reef-safe. Furthermore, it has an SPF rating of 15 and provides water-resistant protection for up to 80 minutes. All our products are manufactured in FDA certified facilities in the USA, and they undergo rigorous testing both before and after production.
